No product or service is ever as good in real life as it appears to be in the photographs advertising it. Whether it’s a mail order bride from Russia, the latest beauty restoration technique, or the food you eat-what you see is rarely what you get.
Thanks to a reader tip, we received a link to this very interesting and amusing project. A group of individuals have set up a website that compares the advertised images of fast food with the actual product after it has been “purchased, taken home, and photographed immediately. Nothing has been tampered with, run over by a car, or anything of the sort. It is an accurate representation in every case”.
