CLAE Footwear

August 6, 2007

By now you should know that we only dig simple, well designed and classic looking footwear and that we’re not into the flash associated with most streetwear brands. I guess thats why we find the new collection from Clae enticing enough to go purchase a pair tomorrow.

Clae originally released its first collection of “athleisure” (dress shoes meet sneakers) footwear back in 2001. Two years later, Clae was awarded the Sportswear International Fashion Award (SIFA) for “Best Men’s Footwear Collection”. After a three year hiatus, Clae is back with sneakers that are looking fresher than ever. Our favorite models from the collection include The Garvey, The Parker, and The Russell. More info and larger images after the jump.

The Garvey

The Garvey will take you back to your roots with its timeless style and the ease of a slip-on. It unites the comfort of a cup sole with the refinement of a pull up or napa leather upper. Add to that the superior cushioning of a custom molded foot-bed, the Garvey will have you on your feet through all of your journeys. ($85.00 for Celery & Navy Hemp)

Available in Black, Celery, Caramel, Navy, Sand, and Umber.

The Parker

Bringing a new energy into footwear, the Parker combines a simple athletic sole with a classic casual contour. A complement of fine nubuck blended with rich pull up leathers together with the superior cushioning of a custom molded foot-bed will have you strolling through the streets in no time.

Available in Black, Bamboo, Navy, Sage, and Umber.

The Russell

With its sublimely simple styling incorporating a smooth pull up leather upper and a classic cup sole, the Russell is the thinking man’s mid-top. Its supple leather lining and the cloud-like feel of a custom molded foot-bed will have your feet feeling like they are flying high.

Available in Black, Caramel, Olive, and Umber.

I have a pair of the Russel Design Umber color, and they are hot when I hit the scene with these everyone was asking about them. If you want to be exclusive get you a pair before everyone gets hip to them!!! (CLEVELAND)
