Manu Customs: Art Force One

October 1, 2007

Most sneaker obsessive-compulsives - especially those enthralled by the “custom scene” - are familiar with Manu Angot and his brand, Art Force One. His unique approach to hand-painted sneakers has earned him a legion of followers from around the globe and has landed him exhibits at high-profile venues such as Collette in Paris.

Although most famous for his bright and bold approach to the Nike Air Force One, we find his women’s heels and Keds-esque Plimsolls to be the most elegant and entertaining. Our favorites include these teal heels with cigarette butts and these burgundy and yellow Plimsolls that were recently spotted by Cool Hunting.
