Hotel Everland is a one-room traveling art and design project created by Swiss artists Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann. The hotel was initially exhibited on stilts at Neuchâtel Lake in Switzerland as part of the 2002 Swiss Expo and has since been displayed on the roof of Gallery für Zeitgenössische Kunst in Germany.
Open to the public for viewing by day and rented out as a single-stay accommodation by night, Hotel Everland has become one of the most highly sought-after and exclusive hotel rooms in the world.
The hotel now sits on a Parisian rooftop overlooking the Eiffel Tower. In our opinion - prestige aside - the unobstructed view of the City of Lights from a private rooftop with Prince’s Purple Rain playing on the record player make it all worth the £313.
