LA - Beginning Monday, folks who suffer from illnesses like cancer and glaucoma will be able to purchase their medical marijuana from “AVM’s” ( Anytime Vending Machines). Unlike condom and cigarette dispensers, they’ll be “housed in standalone rooms, abutting two dispensaries and protected by round-the-clock security guards”, says Thrillist.
To use the service, you’ll have to visit an AVM location with your prescription, have your fingerprints taken and get a pre-paid card that contains info about the dosage you require along with your preferred strain. Users of the service will be allowed to purchase up to an ounce per week and choose from variety like OG, Kush and Granddaddy Purple.
In the future, the vending machines may also offer other pharmaceuticals like Vicodin, Viagra, and Propecia. Cocktails anyone?

I’m pretty sure all of these vending machines will be smashed and/or stolen on their first day of service.
