Last Saturday, I stopped by Roden Gray, a relatively new and upscale men’s boutique in Vancouver’s Gastown area. There, my friend Ryan filled me in on the shops concept and brands. Overall, the space is well designed, the garments and products are cleverly merchandised, and the vibe is somewhat mature when compared with the streetwear/sneaker culture shops that also inhabit the area. The garments on display are logo free, well made and fitted. Staff are warm and friendly, and consumers are made to feel welcome, rather than not cool enough to be shopping there.

Brands available include: Wings + Horns, Nice Collective, Filson, Comme Des Garçons (fragrances), and sneaker samples (available for purchase soon) by Feiyue. Be sure to check Roden Gray out!
