Kintaro

Kintaro (commonly translated as “Golden Boy”) is a well-known hero in Japanese folklore. According to various legends, he was raised by a Yamamba ogress in the mountains, possessed supernatural strength, and had the ability to communicate with animals. Rumored to have slaughtered monsters, crushed boulders with his bare hands and defeated bears at sumo, Kintaro is a symbol of strength and bravery.
